U6818 CLEVELAND TERRACE, NEWBIGGIN-BY-THE-SEA
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6518 Cleveland Terrace Newbiggin-by-the-Sea from its junction with Gibson Street heading westwards for a distance of 30 metres the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th November 2024 until the 30th April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th November 2024 until the 29th November 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th April 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Northumberland Avenue, North Seaton Road To Westmorland Avenue, North Seaton Road, Gibson Street, Westfield Crescent.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to install ducting for EV cables and footway works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
