Rayrigg Road, Temporary No Waiting, Loading & Unloading Restrictions Due To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL (A592 RAYRIGG ROAD LAYBY, WINDERMERE) (TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable footpath resurfacing works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or from loading and unloading, at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along that section of the A592 Rayrigg Road layby, Windermere (west side) just south of Wynlass Beck, extending in a northerly direction for approx. 40m.

The Order will come into operation on 18th November 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 3 months and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
