Chapter Road Area, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended)
CHAPTER ROAD AREA (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*
The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate installation of a new water main and associated works in Balmoral Road, Buxton Road, Chapter Road, Chatsworth Road, Lydford Road and St Pauls Avenue, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in:-
(a) the entire length Balmoral Road;
(b) the entire length of Buxton Road;
(c) the entire length of Chapter Road;
(d) that length of Chatsworth Road, which lies between a point the common boundary of Nos. 130 and 132 Chatsworth Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 171 and 173 Chatsworth Road;
(e) that length of Lydford Road, which lies between the northern kerb-line of Willesden Lane and a point opposite the north-eastern building wall of No. 29 Lydford Road;
(f) the entire length of St Pauls Avenue, when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed. The prohibitions referred to in:-
(a) above would apply from 6th January 2025 to 9th March 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
(b) and (d) above would apply from 2nd December 2024 to 22nd December 2024 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
(c) above would apply from 2nd December 2024 to 11th May 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
(e) above would apply from 2nd December 2024 to 26th January 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
(f) above would apply from 20th April 2025 to 11 th May 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
The road closures are scheduled to take place in phases and works are expected to take place between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) to (f) inclusive above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
