West Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Electrical Works
What is happening?
The County Council of Durham (West Road (rear), Annfield Plain) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024
The Council on 8/11/2024 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 45 metre length of rear numbers 13-29 West Road, Annfield Plain to enable new electricity supply and connection works to be undertaken.
An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic locally via side and rear Northgate.
The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on Monday 18 November 2024 and anticipated to be completed 7 working (9 calendar) days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
