Temporary Closing Of The Bus/Cycle Lane On The East Side
Of B176 Turners Hill, Cheshunt) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all public service vehicles and pedal cycles from using the bus/cycle lane on the east side of B176 Turners Hill, Cheshunt from a point 50m south of its junction with Windmill Lane southwards for a distance of approximately 102m (“the Bus/Cycle Lane”).
An alternative route will be via B176 Turners Hill.
The definition of a ‘public service vehicle’ has the same meaning as in Section 1 of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981.
The definition of a ‘pedal cycle’ means a cycle powered only by foot or hand.
The Order is needed because bus shelter improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Bus/Cycle Lane.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the bus/cycle lane.

(Temporary Closing Of Cold Christmas Lane, Thundridge) Order No.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cold Christmas Lane, Thundridge from its junction with Thundridge Public Footpath No.027 south eastwards, eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Thundridge Public Bridleway No.016, a distance of approximately 980m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Cold Christmas Lane, Cambridge Road, High Road, Ermine Street, Gore Lane, C39 (unnamed road) and Cold Christmas Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Cock Lane, Brickendon) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cock Lane, Brickendon from its junction with White Stubbs Lane north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Brickendon Liberty Public Bridleway No.028, a distance of approximately 820m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via White Stubbs Lane, Baas Hill, Baas Lane, Park Lane and Cock Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of B1004 Great Hadham Road, Much Hadham) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1004 Great Hadham Road, Much Hadham from its westernmost junction with Aerodrome Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B1004 (Great Hadham Road/Winding Hill/High Street/Tower Hill/Widford Road/Medcalf Hill/High Street), B180 (Hunsdon Road/ Widford Road/High Street/Stanstead Road/Hunsdon Road), B181 Roydon Road, A414 (Eastwick Road/Fifth Avenue/Edinburgh Way), A1184 (Cambridge Road/ Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/London Road/Cambridge Road/London Road/St James Way) and B1004 Great Hadham Road.
The Order is needed because to replace an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Friars Road, Braughing) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Friars Road, Braughing from a point in line with the western boundary of No.34 Friars Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 45m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of C41 (Unnamed Road), Babbs Green) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C41 (unnamed road), Babbs Green from its junction with Fanhams Hall Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Fanhams Hall Road, Musley Hill, New Road, A1170 High Road, B1004 (Star Street/Widbury Hill/Ware Road) and C41 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Wyddial Road, Wyddial/Buntingford) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Wyddial Road, Wyddial/Buntingford from its junction with Vicarage Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 293m (“the Road”), except for access.
3. that length of St Cuthberts Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Old Highway north eastwards for a distance of approximately 95m.
An alternative route will be via Old Highway, Castle Road and St Cuthberts Road.
4. the service road leading to Nos.75-123 Cuffley Hill, Goffs Oak from its easternmost junction with B156 Cuffley Hill south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via B156 Cuffley Hill.
5. the service road leading to Nos.25-53 Cuffley Hill and Nos.647-653 Goffs Lane, Goffs Oak from its junction with B156 Goffs Lane south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Jones Road, a distance of approximately 435m.
An alternative route will be via B156 (Goffs Lane/Cuffley Hill) and Jones Road.
6. that length of Old Nazeing Road, Broxbourne from its northernmost junction with B194 New Nazeing Road south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 267m.
An alternative route will be via B194 New Nazeing Road and Old Nazeing Road.
7. that length of The Gateways, Goffs Oak from its junction with Burton Lane north westwards and northwards for a distance of approximately 134m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
8. that length of Briarswood, Goffs Oak from its junction with The Gateways north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Galley Green, Hoddesdon from its junction with A1170 Ware Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the Hailey Lane roundabout, a distance of approximately 77m. An alternative route will be via A1170 Ware Road.
10. that length of Colthurst Gardens, Hoddesdon from its junction with Fishermans Way south westwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be
maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
11. that length of Little Pipers Close, Goffs Oak from its junction with Jones Road south eastwards for the entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being
carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be
maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
12. that length of Doverfield, Goffs Oak from its junction with B156 Goffs Lane south westwards and north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
13. that length of Bruce Way, Waltham Cross from its junction with Park Lane north eastwards to its junction with Leven Drive, a distance of approximately 83m.

14. the road leading to Nos.103-113 Rowan Drive, Turnford from its junction with Rowan Drive south westwards, north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

15. that length of Dairyglen Avenue, Cheshunt from its junction with B176 Crossbrook Street south eastwards and clockwise for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
16. that length of Cohen Close, Cheshunt from its junction with Dairyglen Avenue south eastwards for a distance of approximately 78m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
17. that length of Turnfield Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Bridleway South north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
18. that length of Goffs Crescent, Goffs Oak from its junction with Jones Road south eastwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out.
