What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Stogumber Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stogumber Road - from 215 metres south-west of the junction with Cookley Lane, south- westwards for a total distance of 99 metres. This Order will enable Airband to install fibre cables for customer connection.
The Order becomes effective on 15th November 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th November 2024 and last until 20th November 2024 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 3 days.
