Shutewater Hill, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gully Clearing Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bishop's Hull Temporary Closure of Shutewater Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Shutewater Hill - from the junction with Bishops Hull Road, westwards for a total distance of 84 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out gully clearing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 28th November 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 5th December 2024 and last until 5th December 2024 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 10 hours.
