(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Widdrington Station in the County of Northumberland.
U6078 Margaret Street from its junction with the C119 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 120 metres, then in a southerly direction for a length of 297 metres and then in a westerly direction for a length of 135 metres.
U6078 Elizabeth Street from its junction with Grange Road heading in a southerly direction for a length of 31 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th November 2024 until the 16th May 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th November 2024 until the 6th December 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th May 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via C119 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out civils drainage works and asphalt resurfacing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
