Albert Street (Part) - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(ALBERT STREET, BRIDLINGTON (PART))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed along part of Albert Street,
Bridlington between the junctions of West Street and
Thorpe Street between 08.00 hours to 17.00 hours.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed
resurfacing works, to be carried out and completed
in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the
public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by
22 November 2024.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order
is via West Street, Windsor Crescent, Thorpe Street
and vice versa.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and
for vehicular access to properties directly affected by
the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 18 November 2024 and
continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen
months or until the works which it is proposed to
carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
