U6112 WELLWOOD GARDENS MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6112 Wellwood Gardens Morpeth for its entire length of 165 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th November 2024 until the 30th June 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th November 2024 until the 29th November 2024, and then from the 4th December 2024 until the 6th December 2024, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during these periods; however, the order will remain in place until 30th June 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1337, Staithes Lane and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out civils and resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
