What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Prospecthill Road, Falkirk from 07:30 hours on 18/11/2024 until 17:00 hours 21/11/2024 on to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes Prospecthill Road, Falkirk, from its junction with Westerglen Road to its road end.
2. The alternative route: no alternative diversion route available - local access to be maintained as far as practically possible
Queen Street, Grangemouth from 08:00 on 18/11/24 until 23:59 on 26/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Albert Avenue in a southerly direction for approximately 75 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Albert Avenue, Queen Street or vice versa.
Thorn Loan, Maddiston from 08:30 on 18/11/24 until 18:00 on 23/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Gilmeadowland Cottage in a southerly direction for approximately 150 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C7, C18, B825, Thorn Loan or vice versa.
Sawers Avenue, Denny from 09:30 until 18:00 on 21/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Rose Terrace in a westerly direction for approximately 105 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Sinclair Crescent, Ferguson Drive, Paris Avenue, Sawers Avenue or vice versa.
Easton Drive, Shieldhill, from 07:30 hours on 18/11/24 until 17:00 hours on 24/11/24 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes Easton Drive, Shieldhill, from its junction Cross Brae (B8028) to its junction with Pirleyhill Drive.
2. The alternative routes: Cross Brae (B8028), Main Street (B8028), B810, Belmont Avenue, Easton Drive and vice versa.
