District Boundary To North Charlton Chathill - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

C47 DISTRICT BOUNDARY TO NORTH CHARLTON CHATHILL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C47 District Boundary To North Charlton Chathill from its junction with The Mill House Track heading eastwards for a distance of 140 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd December 2024 until the 13th December 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd December 2024 until the 4th December 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th December 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A1, B6348, C43, C47 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre for the installation of a new pole. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
