B6353 CROOKHAM TO FORD VILLAGE, FORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6353 Crookham To Ford Village Ford from its junction with the B6354 heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 146 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd December 2024 until the 2nd June 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd December 2024 until the 7th February 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd June 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6353, B6354,A697, B6525 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out bridge investigation works, lifting/replacing parts of the bridge deck and structure. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
