Derby Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DERBY ROAD, SWANWICK
WHEN: 18 November to 23 November 2024 (Between 20:00 to 04:00)
WHERE: Derby Road, Swanwick in both directions between its Jct. with Sleetmoor Lane and its Jct. at the Watchorn Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6179 Derby Road, A38, A38 Slip B600, B600 Nottingham Road, B6017 High Street, Leabrooks Road, Victoria Street, Main Road, B6016 Swanwick Road, Crays Hill, The Delves, The Green, Chapel Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
