Beanley C82 - Temporary Road Closure

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the Beanley C82 Powburn from its junction with the C83 heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 780 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th December 2024 until the 26th May 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th January 2025 until the 7th January 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th May 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C82, B6346, A697 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
