What is happening?

SOUTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL
(FIELD TERRACE, JARROW) ORDER 2024

On 06 November 2024 South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The Order, which comes into operation on 18 November 2024 will introduce no waiting and no loading or unloading at any time on Field Terr north side and south side from its junction with Bede Burn Rd eastwards for 16m. Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at the
Town Hall at the address below. Alternatively, you can request a copy of the documentation by emailing kathryn.ruddy@southtyneside.gov.uk.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 06 November 2024 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
