C36 REDSCAR BRIDGE JUNCTION
TO DODDINGTON JUNCTION WOOLER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C36 Redscar Bridge Junction To Doddington Junction Wooler from its junction with C34 heading eastwards for a distance of 2100 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th December 2024 until the 20th December 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th December 2024 until the 13th December 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th December 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C34, U1036, C36 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing for the installation of chambers for fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
