C96 High Buston Main Street - Temporary Road Closure

C96 HIGH BUSTON MAIN STREET HIGH BUSTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C96 High Buston Main Street High Buston from outside the front of number 3 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th December 2024 until the 20th December 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th December 2024 until the 13th December 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 20th December 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C96, A1068, U3029, U3030, U3031 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to install a new water connection into a new property. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
