U2062 South Road, Belford - Temporary Road Closure

U2062 SOUTH ROAD, BELFORD
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to restrict the speed of vehicular traffic from 60mph to 30mph on that section of the U2062 South Road from it’s junction with the B6349 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th November 2024 until the 26th January 2025.

The closure has been requested by Cheviot Plant Hire to install sewage and storm pipes in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
