High Street, Ascot - Temporary Prohibition of Waiting due to Tree Cutting Works

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER NO. 2 2024

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to: Prohibit Waiting on that length of A329 High Street, Ascot, on the westbound carriageway for a distance of 40 metres in eastward direction form the terminus of No Waiting restriction outside Car Park 2L and in that length of eastbound carriageway from eastern boundary of Ascot Life church eastward for a distance of 215 metres.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely tree cutting works and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will come into operation from 16:00 hours on Monday 2 December until 23:59 hours on Tuesday 3 December 2024. The restriction shall apply when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
