RESTRICTIONS IN VICARAGE LANE, KINGS LANGLEY)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Vicarage Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with Langley Hill north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with A4251 Hempstead Road, a distance of approximately 587m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Chipperfield Road, Langley Road, Chapel Croft, Tower Hill, Chipperfield Road, Flaunden Lane, Featherbed Lane and A4251 (London Road/Hempstead Road). ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

RESTRICTIONS IN ABSTACLE HILL, TRING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Abstacle Hill, Tring from its junction with Cherry Gardens south eastwards to its junction with Cobbetts Ride, a distance of approximately 106m (“the Road”), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BOVINGDON PUBLIC BYWAY OPEN
TO ALL TRAFFIC NO.007 (SHANTOCK HALL LANE)) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using Bovingdon Public Byway Open to All Traffic No.007 (Shantock Hall Lane) from its junction with Pudds Cross south eastwards to its junction with Shantock Lane, a distance of approximately 912m (“the Public Byway Open to All Traffic”).
An alternative route will be via Pudds Cross and Shantock Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Byway Open to All Traffic. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Byway Open to All Traffic. HEMEL HEMPSTEAD AND BOVINGDON) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-
1. that length of Vauxhall Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Leverstock Green Road south westwards to its junction with Longlands, a distance of approximately 368m.
An alternative route will be via Leverstock Green Road, Adeyfield Road and Longlands.
2. the Ranelagh Road roundabout, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Vauxhall Road clockwise for its entire length. An alternative route will be via Vauxhall Road, Leverstock Green Road, Adeyfield Road, Longlands and Vauxhall Road.
3. that length of Water Lane, Bovingdon from its junction with Bovingdon Road south eastwards to its junction with Flaunden Lane, a distance of approximately 880m.
An alternative route will be via Long Lane, Venus Hill and Flaunden Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of New Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Brownlow Road south westwards, westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 495m.
An alternative route will be via Brownlow Road and Station Road. 2. that length of New Road, Berkhamsted from its westernmost junction with Whitehill south eastwards for a distance of approximately 28m.
An alternative route will be via Whitehill, Brownlow Road and Station Road.
3. that length of Whitehill, Berkhamsted from its junction with Brownlow Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 219m.
An alternative route will be via Brownlow Road, Station Road and New Road.
4. that length of Bridgewater Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Brownlow Road north westwards to its junction with Castle Hill Avenue, a distance of approximately 135m.
An alternative route will be via Brownlow Road, Lower Kings Road, A4251 (High Street/Gossoms End), Billet Lane and Bridgewater Road. 5. that length of Whitehill, Berkhamsted from its junction with Whitehill Court north westwards for a distance of approximately 67m. An alternative route will be via Whitehill, Gravel Path, Station Road and New Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install a junction speed table in those lengths of Belmont Road, Risedale Road and Athelstan Road, Hemel Hempstead as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals may be viewed from 13 November 2024 during office hours, at Main Reception, County Hall, Hertford, or on-line at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Dacorum and looking at Ref: D01724.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install a set of speed cushions in that length of Fishery Road, Hemel Hempstead as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
