What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF AYOT ST PETER ROAD, AYOT ST PETER/AYOT GREEN LANE, AYOT GREEN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ayot St Peter Road, Ayot St Peter/Ayot Green Lane, Ayot Green from its junction with Codicote Road south eastwards, north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Waterend Lane, a distance of approximately 2962m ("the length of Roads"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Codicote Road, St Albans Road, B656 (High Street/ Codicote Road/Link Road/Church Street), A1000 Welwyn Bypass Road, B197 (Welwyn Bypass Road/Digswell Hill) and Ayot Green Lane.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B156 COOPERS LANE, POTTERS BAR/CUFFLEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B156 Coopers Lane, Potters Bar/Cuffley from its junction with Coopers Lane Road north eastwards to its junction with B156 Judges Hill, a distance of approximately 884m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via B156 The Causeway, A1000 (Hatfield Road/Great North Road), B157 (Shepherds Way/The Ridgeway/East Ridgeway/Plough Hill) and B156 (Northaw Road East/Northaw Road West/Judges Hill).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BROADFIELD PLACE AND THE FOOTPATH SITUATED BETWEEN NO.12 AND NO.23 BROADFIELD PLACE, WELWYN GARDEN CITY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Broadfield Place, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with Attimore Road south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated between No.12 and No.23 Broadfield Place, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with Broadfield Place south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Lemsford Road, a distance of approximately 152m ("the Footpath").

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road and Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 November 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road and Footpath. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HARMER GREEN LANE, DIGSWELL) ORDER NO.4 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Harmer Green Lane, Digswell from a point 55m south west of its junction with Barneswood south westwards for a distance of approximately 408m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Harmer Green Lane, Burnham Green Road, Bramfield Road, Datchworth Green, Mardleybury Road, B197 (London Road/ Mardley Hill/Great North Road), A1000 (Welwyn Bypass Road/Hertford Road), Hertford Road, Harmer Green Lane, New Road and Harmer Green Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN POTTERSHEATH ROAD, WELWYN/POTTERSHEATH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pottersheath Road, Welwyn/Pottersheath from its junction with Spinney Lane south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Canonsfield Road, a distance of approximately 1030m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Spinney Lane, Wych Elm Lane, Bridge Road, B197 London Road, Heath Road and Canonsfield Road.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE HATFIELD ROAD LINK ROAD SITUATED OPPOSITE 'THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION', POTTERS BAR) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the Hatfield Road Link Road situated opposite 'The Royal British Legion', Potters Bar from its junction with A1000 High Street south eastwards to its junction with B156 The Causeway, a distance of approximately 22m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A1000 (High Street/Barnet Road), Waggon Road, A111 (Stagg Hill/Southgate Road) and A1000 High Street.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF DOVE COURT, HATFIELD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dove Court, Hatfield from its junction with Heron Way north eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE COMMONS, WELWYN GARDEN CITY) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Commons, Welwyn Garden City from its westernmost junction with Howlands south eastwards for a distance of approximately 58m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Howlands and The Commons.

The Order is needed because telecommunication maintenance and repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HATFIELD PUBLIC BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC NO.094 (PONSBOURNE PARK)) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using Hatfield Public Byway Open to All Traffic No.094 (Ponsbourne Park) from its junction with Hatfield Public Byway Open to All Traffic No.095 north eastwards for a distance of approximately 15m ("the Public Byway Open to All Traffic").

There is no alternative route available for traffic when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this Public Byway Open to All Traffic will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Byway Open to All Traffic.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Byway Open to All Traffic.
