What is happening?

THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PARKING PLACES) (C ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be in Kilburn Lane, within the City of Westminster, to:
 (a) introduce 10 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions outside Nos. 48 to 52, replacing two residents’ parking spaces;
 (b) introduce 5.2 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions outside Nos. 102 and 104, replacing a residents’ parking space; and
 (c) introduce 5.2 metres of double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions outside No. 116, replacing a residents’ parking space.

3. Please note that the above measures form part of a wider scheme which also affects Banister Road and the lengths of Kilburn Lane that lie within the London Borough of Brent. Details of the proposals that affect Banister Road and Kilburn Lane (Brent) will be published separately by the Council of the London Borough of Brent.

4. The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at https:// westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00a.m. and 5.00p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 6. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3rd Floor, WSP House, 70 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1AF, or by email to tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8105/HWB by 4th December 2024. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections and other representations about the proposals will be shared with the Council of the London Borough of Brent as part of the consultation review process.
