SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U2233 PACKARD AVENUE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2233 Packard Avenue, Ipswich to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Nansen Road, Rands Way, Rands Circle and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2024 -15/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to SuffolkHghways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U1047 FOUNDRY LANE, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1047 Foundry Lane. Ipswich to facilitate sewer connections. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Bridge Street, Vernon Street, Bridge Street, Star Lane, Lower Orwell Street, Key Street, College Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2024 -03/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Williams Southern Limited. Tel: (01752) 201300.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4550 BRIDGE STREET AND CROWN STREET, NEEDHAM MARKET

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

* U4550 Bridge Street, Needham Market from 20 metres west of the railway bridge to the junction with the U4550 Crown Street

* U4550 Crown Street, Needham Market from the railway bridge for 20 metres south eastbound.

This is to facilitate a structural examination. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 13/11/2024 from 9am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6710 EASTERN AVENUE, HAVERHILL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6710 Eastern Avenue, Haverhill from Beech Grove to Ash Grove to facilitate parking of materials and equipment to allow carriageway resurfacing along Elm Close and Chestnut Close. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Eastern Avenue, Withersfield Road, Crowland Road, Castle Lane, Eastern Avenue and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/11/2024 -26/11/2024 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended Dy the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C341 THE STREET, HOLLESLEY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C341 The Street, Hollesley from Clumber for 30 metres westbound to facilitate repairs to a water pipe. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1083, the B1083 Woodbridge Road, Woodbridge Airfield Road, Meath Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/11/2024 -15/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BOROUGH OF IPSWICH) (STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2019 (IPSWICH) (HALIFAX ROAD, MONTGOMERY ROAD AND MONMOUTH CLOSE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (VARIATION NO. 32) ORDER 2024

On 04/11/2024 Suffolk County Council made the above order under Sections 1,2,3,4 and Part IV of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended the effect of the order will be to introduce:

* incorporate revision 0 of Map Tile GR121 into the above-named 2019 Order, as amended. The effect of this will be to introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' on:

* Monmouth Close, Ipswich, for a length of 46 metres in a northeastern direction starting at the access to Lombardy Park Residential Home.

* Monmoufh Close. Ipswich, in a westerly direction, for a length of 39.5 metres starting at the driveway access of property no. 144.

* replace revision 0 of the Map Tiles bearing references GR122 and GQ122 with revision 1 of the Map Tiles bearing the same reference numbers into the above-named 2019 order as amended. The effect of this will be to introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' on:

* Montgomery Road, Ipswich, in a north westerly direction, extending onto Halifax Road, for a length of 80 metres starting at the lay-by on Montgomery Road.

Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works, for emergency services, for the maintenance of the road or its services and to fulfil statutory duties. Blue Badge holders are also exempt from the order.

A copy of the order, which comes into effect on 15/11/2024 and planjs) showing the roads affected, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and at also at Ipswich County Library, Northgate Street, Ipswich IP13DE, 9am - 6pm Monday; 9am - 7pm Tuesday; 9am- 6pm Wednesday and Thursday, 9am - 7pm Friday; 8.30am - 5pm Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.

If anyone wishes to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any of the requirements of that Act or any instrument made under it nave not been complied with in relation to the order, they may within six weeks of the date on which the order was made apply to the High Court for this purpose.
