Andover Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Treet Pruning Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - A343 ANDOVER ROAD (RED HILL), ASHMANSWORTH, BASINGSTOKE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A343 Andover Road (Red Hill) between its junction with Ox Drove and its junction with Cross Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A343, A3093, A303, A34
DURATION OF ORDER: from 12th November 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 - 15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Ground Control SSE to carry out tree pruning under 11kv powerlines. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: sally.lawley@centuriontraffic.com
Ground Control SSE will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
