TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2024 Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984

Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. hereby give notice that:

1) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BELTON WITH BROWSTON - The Footpath from its junction wth Fern Gardens to its junction wth Bramble Gardens to facilitate installation of a new fibre network from 18th to 29th November 2024 (may continue until 10th January 2025). Alternative route is via: Bramble Gardens, Bracon Road, Fern Gardens.

CATFIELD - 1) A149 Bypass from its junction with C408/10 New Road for 200m northwards and 240m southwards; 2) C408/10 New Road from its junction with A149 Bypass for 20m westwards and 3) C408/20 New Road from its junction with A149 Bypass for 20m eastwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing, the Roads 1), 2) and 3) will be temporarily closed/restricted between 19:00 and 05:00, and Road 1) will also be subject to a 30mph speed restriction between 05:01 and 18:59 from 18th to 23rd November 2024 (may continue until the 4th January 2025). POSTWICK WITH WITTON - Oaks Lane from 50m south of its junction with Yarmouth Road for 30m southwards to facilitate essential bank stabilising from 18th to 20th November 2024 (may continue unti 1st January 2025). REEPHAM - Whitwell Common from 480m north of its junction with Blackwater Lane for 70m northwards to faciltate works for a new electrical connection from 18th to 26th November 2024 (may continue until 7th January 2025). SPROWSTON - A1151 Wroxham Road (Bus Lane only) from 160m southeast of its junction with Fairstead Road for 75m south eastwards to facilitate a safe working area for works on a footway box between 09:30 and 15:30 from 21st to 22nd November 2024 (may continue until 3rd January 2025). COSTESSEY - 1) C162 Longwater Lane from ts junction with A1074 Dereham Road for 50m north eastwards and 2) A1074 Dereham Road from its junction with C162 Longwater Lane for 50m eastwards to facilitate Anglian Water laying a new supply for a fire hydrant, the Road 1) will be temporarily closed/restricted, traffic over the Road 2) shall be prohibited from using the eastbound leftmost lane and shall be subject to the imposition of a 30 mph speed restriction from 18th November to 6th December 2024 (may continue until the 17th January 2025). Alternative route is via: Low Road, Wretton Road, Lynn Road, Field Lane, Church Road (Stoke Ferry, Wretton).

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/ footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular highway or 6 months for non-vehicular highway. Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
