London Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE -B3047 LONDON ROAD, HEADBOURNE WORTHY, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of B3047 London Road between the north and south junctions with Pudding Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3047, A33, A34, A272, A31, B3330, B3331, B3040, B3330, B3420, B3045, B3047.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 13th November 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 22 days, working between the hours 08:00-20:00 and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors Ltd to carry out gas main replacement works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: Admin@ igcontractorsltd.com
I&G Contractors Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
