What is happening?

NUTTS LANE, HINCKLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984.
The Order will come into force on 18/11/2024 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow JW Building & Groundwork Services Ltd on behalf of Taylor Wimpey & their appointed contractors to undertake remedial works to defects & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Coventry Rd, A5 J A47/B4666 R/bout, A5 from J A47/B4666 R/bout to Start of Dualling South of Hinckley including R/bout, Hammonds Wy, Hinckley & vice versa.
