What is happening?

Temporary Road Closures – Various Roads, Countywide 2024 (No.47)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

  1. Stakes Lane, Bishops Waltham, Winchester between its junction with B2177 and its junction with Stakes Lane (spur)
  2. Common Road, Headley, Basingstoke between its junction with Holdrop Hill and its junction with Ashford Hill Road
  3. Upper Moors Road Footpath, Winchester between its junction with Upper Moors Road (footpath entrance top end) and its junction with 27 Pennington Close
  4. Frys Lane, Hordle, New Forest between its junction with Everton Road and its junction with Wainsford Road
  5. North Acre, Longparish, Test Valley between its junction with B3048 and its termination
  6. Burrard Grove, Lymington, New Forest between its junction with Broad Lane and its termination
  7. Worthy Lane, Winchester between its junction with B3047 and its junction with B3420
  8. Highfield Road, Ringwood, New Forest between its junction with Kestral Court and its junction with Southampton Road
  9. Highwood Lane, Highwood, New Forest between its junction with Gorley Road and its junction with Linford Road
  10. Hightown Road, Ringwood, New Forest between its junction with Castleman Way and its junction with Eastfield Lane
  11. St James Road, Sway, New Forest between its junction with B3055 and its junction with Manchester Road
  12. Sowcroft Lane, Hook, Hart between its junction with Froyle Road and its junction with Pickaxe Lane
  13. Cadnam Lane, Copythorne, New Forest between its junction with Wittensford Lane and its junction with Kewlake Lane
  14. Bowerwood Road, Fordingbridge, New Forest between its junction with Hillbury Road/Station Road and its junction with Shaftesbury Street
  15. Road through Emery Down Towards Stoney Cross, Lyndhurst, New Forest between its junction with Peartree and its junction with Bolderwood
  1. Strides Lane, Ringwood, New Forest between its junction with Market Place and its termination
  2. Eversley Place, Winchester between its junction with Stanmore Lane and its termination
  3. High Street, Bursledon, Eastleigh between its junction with Salterns Lane and its junction with School Lane
  4. A339 Kingsclere Road, Kingsclere, Basingstoke between its junction with Roman Road and its junction with Union Lane: a point 30m north and south of Kingsclere Road along George Street and B3051 Little Knowl Hill.
  5. Stodham Lane, Liss, East Hampshire between its junction with London Road and its junction with Andlers Ash Road

DURATION OF ORDER: from 18th November 2024 for a period of 18 months (excluding notice 3 which will be in force for a period of 6 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
