The East Sussex (A22 Eastbourne Road/East Hoathly Bypass/South Street, Halland, East Hoathly)
(Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the following length of road to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:-
Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit
Eastbourne Road/East Hoathly Bypass/South Street – from the junction with B2192 Lewes Road to the junction with C13 Park Lane.
The Order commences 9 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 17:00hrs to 23:00hrs on 9 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U7525 Allfreys Lane, Crowborough)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Allfreys Lane – for its entire length.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 11 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. The East Sussex (U5135 Mill Road, Lewes)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Mill Road – from the junction with A26 Malling Down to the junction with U5135 The Lynchets.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 13 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 13 and 14 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (U7584 Meres Lane, Five Ashes/Cross in Hand)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Meres Lane – from the junction with A267 Mayfield Road to the junction with A267 Heathfield Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A267 Mayfield Road, Heathfield Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 11 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 11 and 15 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow DPS Denne Ltd to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
St Pancras Road – from the junction with B2193 Southover High Street to the junction with U5119 Cleve Terrace.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U5119 St Pancras Road, Grange Road – U5162 Southover High Street – B2193 Southover High Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 11 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 11 and 15 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Tilsmore Road – from the junction with U7368 Mill Road to the junction with U7602 Ghyll Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7602 Ghyll Road – U7368 Mill Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 13 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 13 and 15 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (U7672 Graywood Road, East Hoathly)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 No.2
To allow Power On to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Graywood Road – from the junction with C13 Waldron Road to the junction with U7026 Holdcroft Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C13 Waldron Road – U7026 Holdcroft Lane and vice versa.
The Order commenced 30 September 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 8 and 24 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (C39 Alfriston Road, Berwick)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Alfriston Road – from the junction with A27 Lewes Road to the junction with U7726 Winton Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A27(T) Lewes Road – C724 Milton Street – C120 Lullington Road – C39 North Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 13 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 04:00hrs on 13 and 14 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C39 Whiteway, Alfriston)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Whiteway – from the junction with P8997 Cuckmere Road to the junction with U7728 Weavers Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C39 High Street, Waterloo Square, North Street – C120 Lullington Road, The Street, Litlington Road – A259 Eastbourne Road – C39 Alfriston Road, Whiteway and vice versa.
The Order commences 14 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 04:00hrs on 14 and 15 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C409 Hammer Lane, Warbleton)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Hammer Lane – from the junction with C596 Clappers Lane to the junction with C601 Kingsley Hill.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C601 Kingsley Hill – C15 Cowbeech Road, Foul Mile, Cowbeech Road – C409 Hammer Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 13 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 09:00hrs to 15:00hrs on 13 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U5147 Albion Street, Lewes)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 No.2
To allow Southern Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Albion Street – from the junction with A277 High Street to the junction with A2029 East Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A2029 East Street, North Street, Little East Street, Eastgate Street – A277 High Street or A277 High Street – A2029 Market Street, North Street, Little East Street, Eastgate Street, East Street.
The Order commences 12 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 12 and 15 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Ranscombe Lane – from the junction with C113 The Street to the junction with A27 Ranscombe Hill.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic eastbound via A27(T) Ranscombe Hill, Eastbourne Road – C113 Station Road, The Street & westbound via C113 The Street, Station Road – A27(T) Eastbourne Road, Ranscombe Hill, Southerham roundabout, Ranscombe Hill – U5665 Ranscombe Lane.
The Order commences 8 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 8 and 11 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

The Order commences 10 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
The Village – for its full extent.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 26 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 19:00hrs to 07:00hrs between 26 and 30 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow Southern Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Mallard Drive – from the junction with U7820 Mallard Drive to the end of the close.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 28 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow Carris Utility Solutions Ltd to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Holdcroft Lane – from the junction with C13 Waldron Road to the junction with U7672 Graywood Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C13 Waldron Road, Scallows Lane – U7676 Graywood Lane – U7672 Graywood Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 25 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 25 November and 9 December 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Nettlesworth Lane – from the junction with C595 Vines Cross Road to the junction with C406 School Hill.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C595 Vines Cross Road – B2203 Maynards Green Road, Hailsham Road, Tower Street – A265 Burwash Road – B2096 Battle Road, Cade Street – C406 School Hill and vice versa.
The Order commences 26 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 26 and 29 November 2024 depending upon the weather conditions. The East Sussex (C277 Bluekiln Lane & C18 South Lane, Dallington)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following lengths of road;
Temporary Road Closures
Bluekiln Lane – from the junction with C18 South Lane for 100 metres southwards towards Bodle Street.
Diversion via C277 Bluekiln Lane, Redpale, North Road – C16 White Horse Road, Bodle Street Road, Back Lane and vice versa.
South Lane – from the junction with C277 Bluekiln Road for 100 metres northwards towards Woods Corner.
Diversion via C18 South Lane – B2096 Woods Corner, Battle Road, Darwell Hill, Kane Hythe Road – A271 Beechdown Wood, Kitchenham Road – C18 Hammer Hill, Church Road, Ponts Green, Herrings Road and vice versa.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 25 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 25 November and 20 December 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.
