What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411 DALTON WAY AND THOMAS SAWYER WAY, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-

1. that length of A411 Dalton Way, Watford from its junction with A411 Lower High Street south westwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with A411 Waterfields Way, a distance of approximately 556m.

An alternative route will be via A411 Lower High Street, A4125 Eastbury Road, A4178 (Deacons Hill/Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road/Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/ Cassio Road), A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road) and A411 Beechen Grove/ Waterfields Way).

2. that length of Thomas Sawyer Way, Watford from its junction with A411 Dalton Way westwards to its junction with A4178 Wiggenhall Road, a distance of approximately 425.

An alternative route will be via A411 (Dalton Way/Waterfields Way/ Lower High Street), A4125 Eastbury Road and A4178 (Deacons Hill/ Wiggenhall Road) or via A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Deacons Hill), A4125 Eastbury Road and A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

11 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VICTORIA CLOSE, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Victoria Close, Rickmansworth from a point in line with the southern boundary of 'The Wain' south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road").

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BERRY GROVE LANE, WATFORD/BUSHEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the

above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Berry

Grove Lane, Watford/Bushey from a point 150m north east of its

junction with Bushey Mill Lane south eastwards and north

eastwards for a distance of approximately 160m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Berry Grove Lane, Bushey Mill Lane,

Park Avenue, Otterspool Way and Berry Grove Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed

to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

11 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the

restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated

by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ORPHANAGE ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Orphanage Road, Watford from its junction with Queens Road north eastwards to its junction with the Reed Crescent roundabout, a distance of approximately 128m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via St Johns Road, Woodford Road, Station Road, A412 St Albans Road, Balmoral Road, Radlett Road and Orphanage Road or via Orphanage Road, Radlett Road, Balmoral Road, A412 St Albans Road and St Johns Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

11 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the

restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated

by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Elstree/Borehamwood from its junction with

A5183 High Street south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 3268m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill South), A41 (Edgware Way/Barnet Way) and A411 Barnet Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on

11 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the

restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Elstree/Borehamwood from its junction with A5183 High Street south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 3268m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill South), A41 (Edgware Way/Barnet Way) and A411 Barnet Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MARLBOROUGH ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to

make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length

of Marlborough Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Exchange

Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance

of approximately 32m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A411 Exchange Road, Upton Road,

A4178 Cassio Road and Marlborough Road.

The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to

be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 November 2024

for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified

shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near

the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN RICKMANSWORTH AND ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Valley Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with Berry Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with The Clump, a distance of approximately 310m.

An alternative route will be via Berry Lane, Dog Kennel Lane, A404 (Rickmansworth Road/ Chorleywood Road) and The Clump.

2. that length of Valley Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with The Drive north westwards for a distance of approximately 450m. An alternative route will be via The Drive, The Clump and Valley Road.

3. that length of Old House Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Bucks Hill north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Langleybury Lane, a distance of approximately 1700m.

An alternative route will be via Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Fir Tree Hill and Langleybury Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN WESTBURY ROAD, NORTHWOOD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Westbury Road, Northwood from its junction with Bourne End Road south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with South Approach, a distance of approximately 156m ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Harefield Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with Sherfield Avenue south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 418m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Harefield Road, A404 (Church Street/ Riverside Drive), A412 (Uxbridge Road/Denham Way), Chalfont Lane, Old Uxbridge Road, Coppermill Lane, Park Road, Rickmansworth Road and Harefield Road or via Harefield Road, Rickmansworth Road, Park Road, Coppermill Lane, Old Uxbridge Road, Chalfont Lane, A412 (Denham Way/Uxbridge Road), A404 (Riverside Drive/ Church Street/London Road), the A404 Riverside Drive/A4145 Moor Lane roundabout, A404 London Road and Harefield Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. the Pine Grove roundabout, Bushey from its junction with Pinfold Road clockwise for its entire length.

3. that length of Pine Grove, Bushey from its junction with the Pinfold Road roundabout north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
