Burgoyne Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Burgoyne Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.166) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 23rd November 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
BURGOYNE ROAD
From its junction with Clarendon Road to its junction with Somerset Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate scaffolding works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
For one day on 23rd November 2024.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Clarendon Road, South Parade, Burgoyne Road and The Strand Roundabout, Clarendon Road, Lennox Road South, Clarence Parade, South Parade, Burgoyne Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
