Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

Greenlands Road, Kemsing, TN15 6PG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Greenlands Road, Kemsing, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Newhaven.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

High Street, Otford, TN14 5PQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow a craft market and Christmas fair with seasonal attractions, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Otford.

A closure is planned between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs on 23rd November 2024.

High Street will be closed between Duck Pond Roundabout and Otford Village Car Park.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A225 Sevenoaks/Otford Road, A25 Bradbourne Vale Road/Maidstone Road, A224 London Road, London Road, Pilgrims Way West and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.

For information regarding this closure please contact The Otford Society, who will be able to assist with the scope of these works.

 

Oak Lane, Sevenoaks, TN14 6HP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oak Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Fig Street Farm.

The alternative route is via Oak Lane, A225 Tonbridge Road, Gracious Lane and vice versa.

 

Sparepenny Lane, Eynsford, DA4 0JJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sparepenny Lane, Eynsford, on or after 19th November 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to White Coppice.

The alternative route is via High Street, A225 Eynsford Road, Riverside, Sparepenny Lane and vice versa.

 

Spode Lane, Cowden, TN8 7HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spode Lane, Cowden, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed 1000m from B2026 Hartfield Road.

The alternative route is via Spode Lane, B2026 Hartfield Road, Butterwell Hill, High Street, North Street and vice versa.

 

St Davids Road, Hextable, BR8 7RJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Thames Water works on B258 Top Dartford Road, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of St Davids Road, Hextable, on or after 24th November 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction of B258 Top Dartford Road.

The alternative route is via B258 Top Dartford Road/Main Road, College Road, Malyons Road, Claremont Road, St Davids Road and vice versa.

 

Stoneings Lane, Knockholt, TN14 7PB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of SGN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stoneings Lane, Knockholt, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Tinkers Yard.

The alternative route is via Main Road, Brasted Lane and vice versa.
