Dover, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

DOVER AREA

Beacon Lane & Hammill Road, Woodnesborough, CT13 0PA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beacon Lane & Hammill Road, Woodnesborough, on or after 2nd December 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

Beacon Lane will be closed between the junctions of Hammill Road and Marshborough Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Beacon Lane, Foxborough Hill, Drainless Road and vice versa.

Hammill Road will be closed from the junction of Beacon Lane to approximately 300m South, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hammill Road, Sandwich Road, Easole Street, Holt Street, Sandwich Road, Aylesham Road, Spinney Lane, B2046 Adisham Road, B2046 High Street, A257 High Street, A257 Gobery Hill, A257 Roman Road, A257 Pedding Hill, Pedding Hill, Guilton, The Street, New Street, Marshborough Road, Foxborough Hill, Drainless Road and vice versa.

Access for Drainless Road will be maintained via Drainless Road, Fleming Road, Lower Road, Durlock Road, Guilton, The Street, New Street, Marshborough Road, Foxborough Hill and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Cop Street Road, Ash, CT3 2DP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cop Street Road, Ash, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Upper Goldstone Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cop Street Road, Cop Street, A257 Ash Bypass, Knell Lane, Richborough Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Sandwich Road, Nonington, CT15 4HE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sandwich Road, Nonington, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Old Moat House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Sandwich Road, Hammill Road, Beacon Lane, Marshborough Road, New Street, The Street, Guilton, A257 Pedding Hill, A257 Roman Road, A257 Gobery Hill, A257 High Street, B2046 High Street, B2046 Adisham Road, Snowdown Road, Holt Street, Easole Street and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
