(CROSSLEY STREET, NEW SHARLSTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 241) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Crossley Street, New Sharlston for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Crossley Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Hell Lane, A655 & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th November 2024 from 19.00 hours to 23.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(BROOKLANDS ROAD, WALTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 242) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Brooklands Road, Walton for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Brooklands Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Brooklands Avenue & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th November 2024 from 09.30 hours to 13.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 243) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Spring Lane, New Crofton for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Spring Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th November 2024 from 11.30 hours to 15.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 244) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: King Street, Normanton for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of King Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Church Road, Foxholes Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th November 2024 from 09.30 hours to 13.30 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 247) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for underground structure of cabling work to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Keeper Lane, Notton for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Keeper Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: George Lane, Barnsley Road, Keeper Lane & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th November 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 248) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for location for cabins and parking to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Portobello Road, Wakefield for approximately 120 metres, main area underneath railway bridge. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Portobello Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Portobello Road, Clifford Avenue, Milnthorpe Lane, Manygates Lane, A6 & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th November 2024 at 18.00 hours to 11th November 2024 at 06.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(SUNNYDALE TERRACE, OSSETT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 251) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to upgrade the underground electrical network to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Sunnydale Terrace, Ossett for approximately 80 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Sunnydale Terrace.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th November 2024 at 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 259) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow test rod & rope & install sub duct into existing fibre infrastructure as part of the larger fibre to home scheme, to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Woolley Mill Lane, Wakefield from approximately 200m from junction with Barnsley Road to approximately 50m from Mill Farm.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: George Lane – Barnsley Road – Woolley Mill Lane – vice versa
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 25th November 2024 until 26th November 2024 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for water connection works to be carried out as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Westfield Terrace, Wakefield for approximately 30m at 1A Westfield Terrace, Wakefield. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Westfield Terrace.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 26th November 2024 to 28th November 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 261) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for installation of new gas main connection & services to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Princess Street, Wakefield from No. 2 to No 14. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Princess Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, access maintained for pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 25th November 2024 at 08.00 hours until 4th December 2024 at 18.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 262) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for footway surfacing works, to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Portobello Grove, Wakefield, full length. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Portobello Grove.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 25th November 2024 at 07.30 hours to 2nd December 2024, at 15.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
