ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON (WEST BARNES LANE. KT3) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 31 ORDER 2024

1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate rail renewal works accessed from the Motspur Park Level Crossing on West Barnes Lane, KT3, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. Whilst the works take place no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane between a point 20 metres south-west of the Motspur Park level crossing and a point 20 metres north-east of that level crossing;

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;

(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. An alternative route for:

(a) vehicular traffic would be via West Barnes Lane, Claremont Avenue, Burlington Road and West Barnes Lane, or vice versa.

(b) pedestrians would be via the Motspur Park station footbridge.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal of the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in jniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or

(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.

7. The Order would come into operation at 12.30am on Sunday 1st December 2024 and remain in force until 5am on Monday 16th December 2024 inclusive. The restrictions would only apply during the works which are scheduled to take place as follows:-

(a) from 12.30am to 6.30am on Sunday 1st December 2024;

(b) from 8.30pm on Sunday 1st December 2024 until 5am on Monday 2nd December 2024; and

(c) from 12.30am on Sunday 15th December 2024 until 5am on Monday 16th December 2024.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON

(PHIPPS BRIDGE ROAD. SW19) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate excavation and ducting works in Phipps Bridge Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Phipps Bridge Road, from the common boundary of Nos. 215 and 217 Phipps Bridge Road to its junction with Homefield Gardens;

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of roads specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Phipps Bridge Road is a cul-de-sac and a diversion route is not applicable.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Wednesday 4th December 2024 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed the following day. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON (BRONSON ROAD AND KINGSTON ROAD. SW20) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice, that to facilitate sewer survey and associated works at the junction of Bronson Road with Kingston Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Bronson Road, from the southern kerb-line of Kingston Road southward for a distance of 21 metres;

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(i) the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;

(ii) Kingston Road, from a point 20 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Bronson Road to a point 20 metres west of the western kerb-line of Bronson Road.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Bronson Road is a cul-de-sac and vehicular access to/egress from, Bronson Road properties will be maintained.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or

(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises adjacent to the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a).

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into operation on Friday 29th November 2024 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed the following day. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON (CHURCH ROAD. MITCHAM) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works in Church Road, Mitcham, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in Church Road.

2. During the works, no person would;

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Church Road, the north side, from the common boundary of Nos. 18 and 20 Church Road to its junction with Morland Close;

(b) enter or proceed on the northern footway of Church Road, from the common boundary of Nos. 18 and 20 Church Road to the western boundary of No. 24 Church Road.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the adjacent walkway provided.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to:-

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or

(d) any persons engaged in the execution of the works.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 2 December 2024 with the works anticipated to be completed that day. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON

(PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO. 149 - LAMMAS AVENUE TO EASTFIELDS ROAD. MITCHAM)(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate ducting works in Public Right of Way No. 149, between Lammas Avenue and Eastfields Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of Public Right of Way No. 149 that lies between Lammas Avenue and Leather Close.

2. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any person connected with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform.

4. Pedestrians affected by the footpath closure should proceed using Lammas Avenue and Leather Close.

5. The Order would come into operation on Wednesday 4th December 2024 with the works anticipated to be completed by Friday 6th December 2024. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON (LONDON ROAD. MITCHAM) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water connection works in London Road, Mitcham, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in London Road, the north-east side, between a point 40 metres south-west of its junction with Bond Road and a point 10 metres north-east of a point opposite the north-western boundary of No. 103 London Road; and

(b) enter or proceed in the length of bus lane which lies between its junction with Bond Road and a point 40 metres south-west of the said junction.

3. The restrictions and suspensions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to:-

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions.

6. The Order would come into operation on Thursday 5 December 2024 with the works anticipated to be carried out over four days. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of three months should further works be required.
