THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (A509 PORTWAY JUNCTION, MILTON KEYNES, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE) NORTHBOUND LAYBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A5 Trunk Road in the City of Milton Keynes in the County of Buckinghamshire to allow nearby carriageway repairs and resurfacing to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to last for approximately 9 weeks starting on, or after, Monday 25 November 2024.
The effect of the Order would be to close, for 24 hours daily, the lay-by adjacent to the northbound carriageway of the A5, situated at a point approximately 370 metres north of the A509 Portway Junction.
The closure (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer, works or winter maintenance vehicles) would be clearly indicated by traffic signs. The Order would come into force on 25 November 2024 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
