What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
GRENDON ROAD, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to locate and repair HV cable fault.
Order Commences: 31 October 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Grendon Road, Tamworth Road, Glascote Road, Pennine Way, Thomas Guy Way, A5, Holly Lane, Old Holly Lane, Atherstone Road, Sheepy Road and vice versa.
Contractor: National Grid, Tel: 08006 783 105.
Bakehouse Lane (Dingle Lane), Hoggrills End Lane, Old House Farm Lane, Old Farm Lane, Nether Whitacre
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works to locate and clear duct pipe blockages. Please note – works will be carried out in phases.
Order Commences: 11 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 November 2024.
Access & Diversions: Will be appropriately signed.

D50 Hermitage Lane & D92 Cockspur Street, Polesworth
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic between Birchmoor Road and Tamworth Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway structural patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 12 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Tamworth Road, Market Street, Fairfields Hill, Birchmoor Road and vice versa.

E11 Garbour Lane, Austrey
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic in its entirety from its junction with Newton Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 13 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion route.

D61 Common Lane, Polesworth
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with the B5000 Grendon Road and Park Avenue.
Reason for Order: Structural patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 13 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Common Lane, Goodere Avenue, Chaytor Road, Bardon View Road, Whitehouse Road, Dordon Road, Fairfields Hill, Market Street, B5000 Grendon Road and vice versa. Access/ Egress to/from Potters Lane will be via Fairfields Hill whilst works are in progress.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
Coton Road, Nether Whitacre
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable pipe works.
Order Commences: 26 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Coton Road, Station Road, Birmingham Road, Haunch Lane, Kingsbury Road and vice versa.
Contractor: GTM (Network Plus), Tel: 07435 540 278.
The Gullet, Polesworth
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Ensor Drive to a point outside property number 51.
Reason for Order: To enable supply alteration works.
Order Commences: 25 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: The Gullet, Fairfields Hill, Market Street, Tamworth Road, Ensor Drive and vice versa.
Contractor: For National Grid, Network Plus, Tel: 01613 515 370.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
