(ACCESS ROAD TO LLANDARCY VILLAGE, LLANDARCY AND ROAD FROM LLANDACY VILLAGE TO JERSEY MARINE, JERSEY MARINE) (REVOCATION) AND (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that the Council on the 4th November 2024 made an Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule below.

A copy of the Order and plan can be inspected on the Council’s Internet Website https://www.npt.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders-tros.

The Order will come into force on the 11th November 2024.

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its powers on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE
Schedule 1 - Revocation
To revoke any existing speed limit orders in so far as it relates to the length of roads set out in Schedule 2 of this Order.

Schedule 2 - Proposed 30mph Speed Limit
2.1 Access Road To Llandarcy Village, Llandarcy.
From its junction with Access road to Pretyman Drive for a distance of approximately 340 metres in a south easterly direction.

2.2 Road From Llandarcy Village To Jersey Marine, Jersey Marine.
From a point approximately 340 metres south east of its junction with Access road to Pretyman Drive for its entire length, a distance of approximately 1700 metres in a south easterly then southerly direction.
