(Stainbeck Avenue, Meanwood, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway for Gas main replacement works Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel in a south-easterly direction along Stainbeck Avenue, Meanwood, Leeds in the Moortown Ward between its junctions with Bentley Lane and Stonegate Road.
A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Stonegate Road, Meanwood Road, Stainbeck Road and Stainbeck Avenue. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 12th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be

(Bagley Lane, Rodley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway for a parking bay suspension to facilitate a water chamber inspection. Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use the parking bays along Bagley Lane, Rodley, Leeds in the Calverley & Farsley Ward outside properties 19-19A Bagley Lane.
Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 13th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 13th November 2024. The parking bay suspension will be in place between 09:30 and 15:30 hrs. G.Moate. Ref: RC311226
(Grove Road, Boston Spa, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways for Mains sewer connection and new services to Martin House Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Grove Road, Boston Spa, Leeds in the
Wetherby Ward between its junctions with Clifford Road and High Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Clifford Road, High Street, Grove Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 7th November and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Friday 6th December 2024. The closure will be in place for 24hrs on each day. *Please note the road closure will NOT be in effect on Sunday 10th November 2024 due to the Remembrance Parade on the High Street. Kasia Krawczyk. Ref: RC310893

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure required for exterior building maintanance works Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along York Place, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Queen Street and York Place. Reversal of the One-way system along York Place, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Queen Street and York Place. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Wellington Street – Northern Street – Whitehall
Road – Thirsk Road – Wellington Street – Britannia Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Sunday 10th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (King Lane, Moortown, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along King Lane, Moortown, Leeds in the Moortown Ward between its junctions with Scott Hall Road and Garth Walk – this is a one way closure in a north west direction. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Scott Hall Road, Street Lane, Stonegate Road, King Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Friday 29th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along; Victoria Street, Allerton Bywater, Leeds
in the Kippax & Methley Ward between its junctions with Victoria Street and Main Street.
A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Victoria Street, Station Road, Main Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 25th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
(Northern Lights Leeds Event – Temple Newsam Leeds) 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, (holding of an event at Temple Newsam Park), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce the following traffic restrictions for the Northern Lights Leeds Event 2024. 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use The Elm Walk.
2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle (other than a vehicle requiring access to property on or adjacent to the road) to use a. The full lengths of Gibson Drive; Pickard Crt; Barton Crt; Lennox Gdns; Stewart Cl; Manor Gth; Pendil Cl; Maltby Crt; Manor Cft; Newsam Green Rd. b. Colton Rd; between The Elm Walk and with Gibson Drive. c. Pontefract Lane; from Junction 45 of the M1, in a generally easterly direction to its end. d. Temple Newsam Rd; from New Temple Gate, in a southerly direction to its end. 3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait on a. Temple Newsam Rd; from Selby Rd for its entire length b. Irwin App for its entire length. c. Colton Rd; for a distance of 350m from its junction with Selby Road. The above restrictions will be in force daily between 15:00hrs and 23:59hrs; from 21 November to
31 December 2024 (apart from Nov 25, 26 & 27 and Dec 2, 3, 9,10 & 25). The restrictions shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the relevant event. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated or adjacent to any road or part of road to which restrictions apply including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only such road. The Council of the City of Leeds has made the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (DEFINITIVE MAP FOOTPATH MICKLEFIELD NO.7) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER (No.2) 2024. The Order will close to pedestrians – Definitive Map Footpath Micklefield No. 7 (known as Castle Hill Wood)
commencing at its junction with Definitive Map Footpath No. 6 and proceeding in a south westerly direction through Highroyds Wood to its junction with the A1M, with a branch running north via the Castle Hill Underpass to the Great North Road. The diversion route will be via:
Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 7 to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 6 to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 12 to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 3 to Great North Road heading south to Definitive Footpath MICKLEFIELD No. 7. The Order is necessary due to a danger to the public from trains that has been identified at the level crossing. The Order is due to come into operation on 8 November 2024 and will continue in effect until 24 April 2025 (subject to extension). (Definitive Bridleway Leeds 83) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (DEFINITIVE BRIDLEWAY LEEDS 83) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order will close to equestrians, cyclists and pedestrians Definitive Bridleway Leeds 83 – from its junction at Meanwood Road/Walkers Yard in a generally westerly direction to a point adjacent to the rear of 98A Grove Lane. The diversion route for pedestrians will be via Meanwood Road/Footpath 88/Footpath 87/Footpath 84/Grove Lane, and vice versa. The diversion route for equestrians and cyclists will be via Walkers Yard/Meanwood Road/Grove Lane/Walkers Road and vice versa. The closure is necessary to enable gas main replacement works to be
undertaken. The Order is due to come into operation on 28 November 2024 and it is anticipated that the closure will continue in effect until 13 December 2024, or until such time as the works to which this Order relates are complete, which in any event will be no later than 28 May 2025.
