Gorchymyn Cefnffordd Yr A494 (Stryd Fawr, Y Bala, Gwynedd) (Gwahardd Cerbydau Dros Dro) 2024

MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 16A o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn cynnal digwyddiad gwasanaeth coffa Sul y Cofio ar gefnffordd yr A494 yn y Bala, Gwynedd.

Effaith y Gorchymyn yw gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys neu ar gyfer y digwyddiad, rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A494 o’r enw Stryd Fawr, y Bala sy’n ymestyn o ganolbwynt ei chyffordd â Heol Aran hyd at ganolbwynt ei chyffordd â Heol y Domen.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r de yw mynd tua’r gorllewin ar yr A4212 o’r Bala i Drawsfynydd, tua’r de ar yr A470 i Ddolgellau a thua’r gogleddddwyrain ar yr A494: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 10 Tachwedd 2024 a bydd yn para am 1 diwrnod. Disgwylir mai dim ond o 10:40 o’r gloch tan 11:20 o’r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol.

The A494 Trunk Road (High Street, Bala, Gwynedd) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles) Order 2024

THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to hold the Remembrance Sunday memorial service event on or near the A494 trunk road at Bala, Gwynedd. 

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services or for the event, from proceeding on the length of the A494 trunk road known as High Street, Bala that extends from the centre-point of its junction with Aran Street to the centre-point of its junction with Mount Street.

The alternative route for southbound vehicles is via the westbound A4212 from Bala to Trawsfynydd, the southbound A470 to Dolgellau and north-eastbound A494: vice versa for northbound vehicles.

The Order comes into force on 10 November 2024 and has a duration of 1 day. The temporary prohibition is only expected to operate from 10:40 – 11:20 hours on that date.
