NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the M180 Motorway, in the County of North Lincolnshire, to enable carriageway repair works to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to start on Monday 2 December for 18 days, or until completed.

The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, between 8pm and 6am, close the M180 westbound:

(i) carriageway from the exit slip road at Junction 3 (Midmoor Interchange) to the entry slip road at Junction 1 (Tudworth Interchange) a distance of 17803 metres;

(ii) entry slip road at Junction 3; and

(iii) entry and exit slip roads at Junction 2 (Woodhouse).

During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available at all times.

It will also be necessary to, at times during the works, between 6am and 8pm, impose a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M180 westbound carriageway from 850 metres east of the exit slip road at Junction 3 to 1810 metres west of the entry slip road at Junction 2, a distance of 9951 metres.

Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the restrictions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or special forces vehicles) and prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).

The Order comes into force on 1 December 2024 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
