Ar 6 Tachwedd 2024 gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd Heol Tŷ Draw o bwynt 194 metr o’r gyffordd â Heol Llaneirwg am 412 metr tua’r de-orllewin.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn ofynnol i hwyluso gwaith ar y briffordd neu gerllaw, a disgwylir iddo fod ar waith o ddydd Sadwrn 9 Tachwedd 2024 tan ddydd Sul 16 Chwefror 2025 neu nes i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau. Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Bydd y llwybr amgen i gerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan yr Hysbysiad hwn trwy Heol Glandulais, Heol Croescadarn, Heol Pentwyn a Heol Tŷ Draw. Enw'r Gorchymyn fydd "Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Heol Tŷ Draw, Pontprennau, Caerdydd) (Cau Dros Dro) 2024”.

The County Council Of The City And County Of Cardiff

(Ty-Draw Road, Pontprennau, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

On the 6th November 2024, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along Ty-Draw Road from a point 194 metres from its junction with St Mellons Road for a distance of 412 metres in a south-westerly direction.

This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near the highway and is expected to be in operation from Saturday 9th November 2024 until Sunday 16th February 2025 or until the works are complete. The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months. 

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closure will be via Heol Glandulais, Croescadarn Road, Pentwyn Road and Ty-Draw Road.

This Order is known as “The County Council of The City and County of Cardiff (Ty-Draw Road, Pontprennau, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024”.
