Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(C2208 Green Street, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2208 Green Street from its junction with C2208 Fox Lane to its junction with U60002 Roman Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2208 Fox Lane, C2108 Hatfield Bank, C2108 Broomhall, C2055 Norton Road, A4440 Broomhall Way, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Main Road, C2208 Post Office Lane, C2208 Green Street (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U53136 Mill Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and Worcestershire County Council (Mill Street) (One Way Traffic) Order 2017 (Temporary Suspension (part) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U53136 Mill Street from its junction with U53138 Portland Street for a distance of 55 metres in a north westerly direction and to temporarily suspend the Worcestershire County Council (Mill Street) (One Way Traffic) Order 2017 to allow two-way traffic access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Remedial works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U53138 Portland Street and U53136 Mill Street (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 8 November 2024.

(U60406 Baughton Hill, Earls Croome) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U60406 Baughton Hill from its junction with A4104 Baughton Hill to its junction with C2104 Bourne Road.

Reason: Air valve renewal by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4104 Baughton Hill, A4104 Woodmancote, C2104 Bourne Road, U60406 Baughton Lane (part) and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U60003 Brookend Lane, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U60003 Brookend Lane from its junction with U60002 Holdings Lane to its junction with U60027 Brook Close.

Reason: Bridgework maintenance by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U60003 Brookend Lane (part), U60002 Roman Road, C2208 Post Office Lane, A38 Main Road, U60003 Brookend Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U62006 Upper Ferry Lane, Callow End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U62006 Upper Ferry Lane from its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Lane to its junction with B4424 Old Hills.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb for vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U62006 Upper Ferry Lane (part), B4424 Old Hills, U62004 Pixham Ferry Lane, U62005 Lower Ferry Lane, U62006 Upper Ferry Lane (part)and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 11 November 2024 and 14 November 2024.

(U54263 Skinner Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U54263 Skinner Road from its junction with U54265 Boughton Street to its junction with U54264 Skinner Street.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54263 School Road, B4485 Bransford Road, B4206 Malvern Road, U54262 Pitmaston Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U53117 New Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (New Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U53117 New Street from its junction with U53118 Charles Street to its junction with U53117 Cornmarket and to temporarily suspend the County of Hereford and Worcester (New Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow two-way traffic access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Utility works by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U53118 Charles Street, A38 City Walls Road.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 November 2024.

(U50220 Gregorys Mill Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U50220 Gregorys Mill Street from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with U50221 New Bank Street.

Reason: Remedial works to rectify defects in carriageway by Full Fibre.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Road, U50132 Sunnyside Road, U50132 Raglan Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U50311 Gilmour Crescent, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U50311 Gilmour Crescent from its junction with U50310 St Michaels Road to its junction with U50309 St Annes Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50310 St Michaels Road, U50309 St Annes Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days (24hrs). Commencing: 8 November 2024.

(U50009 Britannia Square, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U50009 Britannia Square from its junction with A38 Upper Tything to its junction with U50004 Britannia Road.

Reason: remedial works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Upper Tything, A38 The Tything, A449 Castle Street, U50003 Loves Grove, U50001 Moor Street, U50004 Britannia Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 13 November 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpath WR-907, Worcester) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024

Order made: To close Footpath WR-907, Worcester for its entire length.

The Order has been made to facilitate resurface the footpath.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Footpaths WR-906, WR-905, WR-904, WR-741, WR-897, WR-895, WR-893, WR-930, WR-909 in Worcester. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 11 November 2024.

District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Various Roads, Littleworth] and Worcestershire County Council (Wadborough Road, Littleworth) (No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2024

On 24 October 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following side and length of road in Littleworth: - Proposed Prohibition of Waiting 'At Any Time' (replacing current No Waiting Mon-Fri, 8-10am & 2-4pm)

Wadborough Road (Both sides): from a point 2.5 metres northwest of its junction with Coronation Cottages for a distance of 43 metres in a south easterly direction.

East side: from a point 8 metres southeast of its junction with St James Close for a distance of 117 metres in a north westerly direction.

West side: from the boundary of number 30/32 Wadborough Road for a distance of 18 metres in a north westerly direction.

St James Close (Both sides): from its junction with Wadborough Road for a distance of 11 metres in an easterly direction.

Coronation Cottages (Both sides): from its junction with Wadborough Road for a distance of 8.5 metres in an easterly direction.

Proposed No Waiting Mon-Fri, 7.30-10am & 2-6pm (replacing current Mon-Fri, 8-10am & 2-4pm) Wadborough Road (East side): from a point 24 metres southeast of its junction with Coronation Cottages for a distance of 46 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. Worcestershire County Council also made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school keep clear markings at any time as follows:

Wadborough Road (West side): from a point 31m southeast of the centre line of its junction with Coronation Cottages for a distance of 74 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Orders will come into operation on 14 November 2024. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Tetbury Drive and Leckhampton Close, Worcester] and [Restriction of Waiting and No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings on Tetbury Drive, Worcester]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Tetbury Drive (Northwest side): from a point 10 metres southwest of its junction with Cranham Drive for a distance of 9 metres in a south westerly direction;

(East side): from its junction with Leckhampton Close for a distance of 11 metres in a northerly direction and 6 metres in a southerly direction.

Leckhampton Close (Both sides): from its junction with Tetbury Drive for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Restriction of Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Tetbury Drive (West side): from the centrepoint of its junction with Leckhampton Close for a distance of 30 metres in a northerly direction.

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school entrance markings Mon-Fri 8am-5pm as follows: Tetbury Drive (West side): from a point 46 metres south of its junction with Cranham Drive for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: Ellison Avenue (North side): from its junction with Laxton Avenue for a distance of 8 metres in an easterly direction and 9 metres in a westerly direction.

Laxton Avenue (Both sides): from its junction with Ellison Avenue for a distance of 9 metres in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
