What is happening?
Temporary Traffic Management Order of B3075, Morden
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 09:00 - 16:00 on 18 November 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26 November 2024. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on B3075, Morden as indicated by signs on site.
[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along B3075, Morden.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Urgent Temporary Closure of A350 Poole Road and Blandford Road, Sturminster Marshall
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A350 Poole Road and Blandford Road, Sturminster Marshall between Lambs Lane, Sturminster Marshall and A31 as indicated by signage on site. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 18 November 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 December 2024.
This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out urgent gas main replacement works in the highway.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: A31 - A35 - A354.

The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 18 November 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 July 2025. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas main replacement works. The effect of the Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Woolsbridge Road, St Leonards And St Ives between A31 and Laurel Lane as indicated by signs on site.
[ii] To impose a temporary one-way traffic flow on; Woolsbridge Road, St Leonards And St Ives to allow traffic to travel northbound from Laurel Lane towards Horton Road as indicated by signs on site.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
