ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

(BACK ST PETER’S AVENUE 1, SOWERBY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back St Peter’s Avenue 1 from No.16 to No. 20 for a distance of approximately 21 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(FARRAR MILL LANE, SALTERHEBBLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Farrar Mill Lane from Farrar Mill Yard to Hebble House for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Shaw Lane, Shaw Hill, A629 Huddersfield Road, Salterhebble Hill, Rookery Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 15th November 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TOWNGATE, SOWERBY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Towngate from Queen Street to Rooley Lane for a distance of approximately 365 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Pinfold Lane, Shield Hall Lane, Steep Lane, Mirey Lane, Hubberton Green Road, Rooley Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 11th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(LIGHTHAZLES ROAD, SOYLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Lighthazles Road from its junction with Gough Lane to Eccles Parlour for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Clay Pits Lane, Salt Drake, Lumb Lane, Mill Bank Road, Oak Lane, Rochdale Road, Halifax Road, Royd Lane, Stoney Lane, Lane Head Road, Cross Wells Road, Blackshaw Clough Road, and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(MARTIN GREEN LANE, GREETLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Martin Green Lane from its junction with Spring Lane in a north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 49 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Spring Lane, Sunnybank Road, Rochdale Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(NEW ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Site Services have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Road either side of bridge structure for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 01:30 & 04:30.

(SMITHY CLOUGH LANE, RIPPONDEN)
(NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Smithy Clough Lane from its junction with Nursery Lane in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 152 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Nursery Lane, unaffected part of Smithy Clough Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(BRIGGATE, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Triton Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Briggate from Anchor Bridge to Ship Street for a distance of approximately 24 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(COOPER BRIDGE ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Cooper Bridge Road from Cooper Bridge Roundabout to 10 metres after bridge MVN2 – 182 for a distance of approximately 100 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via A62 Cooper Bridge Road, Cooper Bridge Roundabout, A644 Wakefield Road, A641 Huddersfield Road, Bradley Bar Roundabout, A6107 Bradley Road, A62 Leeds Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.

(ELIZABETH STREET, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Elizabeth Street from No. 1 to No. 7 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Southgate, Catherine Street, Frances Street, unaffected part of Elizabeth Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(OGDEN LANE, RASTRICK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ogden Lane from its junction with Toothill Bank to The Old Vicarage for a distance of approximately 55 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Church Street, Crowtrees Lane, New Hey Road, Clough Lane, Fixby Road, Huddersfield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th November 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SUTCLIFFE WOOD LANE, HIPPERHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sutcliffe Wood Lane from its junction with Walter Clough Lane to Hebble Brook House for a distance of approximately 250 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Sutcliffe Wood Lane, Half House Lane, A644 Brighouse Road, A644 Halifax Road, A58 Halifax Road, Tanhouse Hill, Station Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(THORNHILLS BECK LANE, CLIFTON)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhills Beck Lane from Thornhills Lane to Hole Bottom Farm for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Jay House Lane, Highmoor Lane, Clifton Common, Clifton Road, A644, Wakefield Road, Huddersfield Road, Bradford Road, unaffected part of Thornhills Beck Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(COMMERCIAL STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Wates Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of Commercial Street footway from its junction with St John’s Lane and Fountain Street for a distance of approximately 101 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route will be via tunnelled scaffolding that will be lit and protected to safeguard members of the public. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(POWELL STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Wates Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Powell Street from its junction with Carlton Terrace in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 190 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Powell Street, Fountain Street, Harrison Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 204 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ST JOHNS LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Wates Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of St Johns Lane in a south-westerly direction from its junction with Commercial Street for a distance of approximately 140 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ST JOHNS PLACE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Water Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of St Johns Place footway from its junction with St Johns Lane and Trinity Road for a distance of approximately 148 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route for pedestrians is via St Johns Lane, Commercial Street, Powell Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TRINITY ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Wates Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Trinity Road from Commercial Street/Portland Place to Powell Street for a distance of approximately 36 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Powell Street, Fountain Street, Harrison Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BULL GREEN AREA, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Roadway UK Traffic Management Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of Bull Green/Bull Green Lane/Barum Top/Bull Green roundabout/Cow Green/Powell Street/Rawson Street/George Street/Lord Street/Harrison Road/Back Ferguson Street/Fountain Street/Lister Lane/Silver Street/Black Swan Passage/Harrison Road/Central Street/Crown Street to Cow Green Junction with Pellon Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th February 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period as and when required.

(NEW ROAD, ERRINGDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Road from Shelf Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 16:30.
