What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of West Bagborough Temporary Closure of New Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along New Road - from 85 metres south-west of the junction with Shopnoller Road, south-westwards for a total distance of 233 metres. This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to repair or replace a gas governor unit.

The Order becomes effective on 7th November 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th November 2024 and last until 22nd November 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 12 days.
