What is happening?

THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(HARTINGTON ROAD & CALLYWHITE LANE, DRONFIELD)
(LIMITED WAITING AND NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2024

Derbyshire County Council proposes making an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict waiting by vehicles (except those delivering or collecting goods or loading and unloading) on the following lengths of road:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Callywhite Lane, Dronfield
North Side
From a point 205 metres west of its junction with Birch House Way, in a westerly direction to a point 425 metres east of its junction with Green Lane.
South Side
From a point 205 metres west of its junction with Birch House Way, in a westerly direction to a point 425 metres east of its junction with Green Lane.
Hartington Road, Dronfield
North Side
From a point 5 metres west of its junction with Fanshaw Road, to a point 5 metres east of that junction.
From a point 10 metres west of its junction with Alexandra Road, to a point 7 metres east of that junction.
South Side
From a point 5 metres west of its junction with Fanshaw Road, to a point 5 metres east of that junction.
From a point 5 metres west of its junction with Alexandra Road, to a point 5 metres east of that junction.
Fanshaw Road, Dronfield
Both Sides
From a point 6 metres north of its junction with Hartington Road, to a point 6 metres south of that junction.
Alexandra Road, Dronfield
Both Sides
From a point 9 metres north of its junction with Hartington Road to a point 5 metres south of that junction.
LIMITED WAITING 1 HOUR NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS MONDAY – SATURDAY 7AM – 2:30PM

North Side
From a point 10 metres west of its junction with Alexandra Road, for a distance of 8 metres in a westerly direction.
Exemptions will be made for vehicles used in connection with any building operation or demolition; removal of any obstruction to traffic; carrying out of statutory powers or duties taking in petrol etc, from any garage situated within the lengths of road; or as part of a funeral or wedding cortege. The usual exemptions for disabled persons’ vehicles will also apply.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the offices of the Derbyshire County Council, Main Reception, County Hall, Matlock between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday until 6 weeks after the Order is made, and at Dronfield Post Office, 73-75 Chesterfield Road, Dronfield, S18 2XD or upon request by emailing Place.PermanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made.
All objections and other representations to the proposal must be made in writing and all objections must state the grounds on which they are made; must give name and full postal address of the person making them; and be sent to the Highway Director – Place, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock DE4 3AG (For Attention of Traffic and Safety Team) or email Place.PermanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk by 29th November 2024.
