THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MUNDY STREET, THORPES ROAD AND WILMOT STREET, HEANOR)
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that, on Thursday the 31st October 2024 Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on Monday the 11th November 2024 and its effect is:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING BY VEHICLES AT ANY TIME (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING) ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Mundy Street
South-west side
From its junction with Wilmot Street in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 16 metres.
From its junction with Wilmot Street in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 8.5 metres.
Wilmot Street
North-west side
From its junction with Mundy Street in a south-westerly direction, for a distance of 14 metres.
South-east side
From its junction with Mundy Street in a south-westerly direction, for a distance of 15 metres.
TO PROHIBIT WAITING BY VEHICLES MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 8AM TO 6PM (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING) ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Thorpes Road
East side
From its junction with the northern kerbline of Thorpes Road (no’s 83 - 107) in a southerly direction, for a distance of 30 metres.
West side
From a point 197 metres north of the centre line of Heanor Gate Road in a northerly direction, for a distance of 20 metres.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, have been revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, at Heanor Library, Ilkeston Road, Heanor, Derbyshire, DE75 during opening hours and on request by emailing place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 12th December 2024.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 31st October 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
