What is happening?

THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(PILSLEY ROAD, LOWER PILSLEY) (NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT)
REVOCATION ORDER 2024)

Derbyshire County Council proposes making an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to revoke the existing National Speed Limit along the following length of road:
NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT
Pilsley Road, Lower Pilsley
From a point 135 metres west of its junction with Parkhouse Road, in a westerly direction for a distance of 130 metres.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the offices of the Derbyshire County Council, Main Reception, County Hall, Matlock between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday until 6 weeks after the Order is made, and at Pilsley Post Office, 11 Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE or upon request by emailing Place.PermanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made.
All objections and other representations to the proposal must be made in writing and all objections must state the grounds on which they are made; must give name and full postal address of the person making them; and be sent to the Julian Gould Highway Director – Place, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock DE4 3AG (For Attention of Traffic and Safety Team) or email Place.PermanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk by 29th November 2024.
